MY LIFE

I was born in the Czech Republic and lived there until 2018. Afterwards, I spent a year in Italy, studying, experiencing a new culture and broadening my perspective, before moving to Switzerland, where I now live and practice.

Living in different countries has given me insight into life transitions, cultural diversity, and personal growth, experiences that shape my work as a psychologist and therapist and allow me to connect with clients with empathy and understanding.

MY EDUCATION

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Psychology from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.

My education has been officially recognized in Switzerland by the Bundesamt für Gesundheit, Psychologieberufekommission (PsyKo).

As part of an exchange program, I also spent a year studying at the Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy, which enriched my academic and cultural perspective.

From the beginning of my studies, I have been deeply interested in psychotherapy and counseling, which led me to pursue a five-year psychotherapeutic training in the integrative approach, completed in January 2022. In addition, I have completed a one-year coaching course, further enhancing my skills in supporting personal development.

I regularly attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to continuously expand my knowledge, stay updated with current research, and refine my professional expertise.

MY PRACTICE

Alongside my private practice, I have gained extensive experience working in diverse mental health and social care settings. I have worked at the Family, Marriage, and Interpersonal Relationships Centre in Prague with Pavel Rataj, M.A., and at the Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice, providing individual therapeutic sessions and organising patient activities.

I also served as a co-therapist at the Daily Sanatorium Horni Palata, focusing on treating clients with anxiety, depression, stress responses, and psychosomatic disorders. This experience strengthened my skills in group therapy and working with clients facing complex emotional challenges.

For several years, I was a member of the non-profit organisation Diakonie, providing social services to children, youth, and adults with disabilities, supporting their families, and assisting people with schizophrenia in reintegration into society.

I also co-founded the project Psychobrani, a nationwide Czech project aimed at combating the stigma of mental health disorders through public education and lectures, which quickly expanded across the country.

In addition, I present at psychology conferences and workshops.
